Abstract

1,187,946. Salt of N,N-dimethylbiguanide with p - chlorophenoxyacetic acid. C.E.R.P.H.A. (Centre European de Recherches Pharmacologiques). 6 Jan., 1969 [8 Jan., 1968], No. 838/69. Heading C2C. The invention comprises the title compound, and a process for making it by mixing the components (or their salts) in a common solvent. Therapeutic compositions for oral administration comprise the above compound, which is hypoglycaemically active, e.g. in the form of capsules, gelatine-coated pills, tablets or dragees.
