Abstract

1,187,400. Yarn traverse guide. MASCHINENFABRIK RIETER A.G. 3 Nov., 1967 [3 Nov., 1966], No.50005/67. Heading D1J. A yarn traverse guide comprises a support 2 of synthetic material slidably mounted on at least one fixed guide rail 4, the support including a plurality of outwardly projecting, spaced, elastically deformable lugs 8. The lugs detachably receive a flat connecting member 6 which is rigidly secured to a slotted yarn guide 7. The flat member can be made of metal, e.g. aluminium alloy. Perferably flat member 6 is gripped by cams 9 on the support. The yarn guide 7 can be made of a ceramic material.
