Abstract

1,185,247. Wall blocks. O. HOFMANN. 6 July, 1967 [8 July, 1966], No. 31139/67. Heading E1B. Pre-fabricated reinforced concrete wall units comprising slabs 2 and 3 connected by webs 4, 4', 4" between reinforced thickenings 9 on the inner faces of the slabs are fitted into channel members 5 secured to the foundations 12, reinforcing rods 20, 20' are introduced and concrete 15 is cast between the slabs 2 and 3. The inner slab 3 is lower in height than slab 2 to accommodate the ceiling 14 which may be a pre-fabricated unit or concrete cast on temporary shuttering during the casting of the concrete 15. The base members 5 may have cut-outs through which reinforcing rods pass from the foundations 12 to the filling 15.
