A mirror 24 for directing the suns rays, onto a cooking utensil supported on a plate 18, is mounted on a ball joint 32 so as to be adjustable as the sun's position changes. The ball joint is clamped to an arm 26 by means of a wing-nut 30 and the arm 26 is in turn adjustable, clamped to portions 22 of a tubular frame 10 by means of a further wing-nut (30), Figs. 1 and 2, (not shown). The arm 26 may be folded into the plane of the base of the frame for storage purposes.
