Abstract

1,181,994. Joint sealing between panels. CSEP S.A. 3 May, 1967 [3 May, 1966], No. 20653/67. Heading E1B. The juxtaposed vertical edges of adjacent panels 1, Fig. 1, of adjacent vertical rows of panels form vertical chambers 6, 9, 11 arranged one behind the other to form a group, adjacent chambers in each group being sealed off from each other by water tight partitions comprised by sealing elements 12, discharge elements 13 being provided, between each two superposed groups of chambers, in the horizontally extending joints between panels at which the panel edges have portions which slope downwardly and outwardly. The discharge element may be a chute which is closed at the top by a transverse layer 16 Fig. 2 of foamed material extending throughout the horizontal joint.
