1,181,596. Pesticides containing dinitrophenyl carbonates. FABRIEK VAN CHEMISCHE PRODUCTEN VONDELINGENPLAAT N.V. 7 March, 1968 [7 March, 1967], No. 11117/68. Heading A5E. [Also in Division C2] Pesticidal compositions comprise one or more compounds of the general formula: where R 1 is a C 1-8 alkyl radical optionally interrupted by a hetero atom, and R 2 is a C 1-4 alkyl group containing a cyano group. They are particularly effective as fungicides, acaricides and herbicides. The compositions are preferably formulated as spraying powders and emulsifiable solutions and may contain conventional additives and solid or liquid diluents or carriers and may also contain other known pesticides.
