Abstract

1,180,640. Roll holders. N. STOKER. 29 March, 1968 [3 Nov., 1967], No. 50031/67. Heading A4G. In a tissue roll dispenser combined with a musical unit, the roll is supported on a spindle 15 between screwed adjustable coned mandrels 1, 2, the mandrel 1 having a cam 7 which, every time tissue is pulled to rotate the cam, displaces a lever 3 pivoted at 8 and abutting the cam, the lower end of the lever then momentarily displacing a spring lever 5 out of the path of a lug on the drum of a clockwork musical unit 11 having a winding key 10. The spring returns and the unit plays until the lug re-abuts the spring, after which the unit will play again only when fresh tissue is pulled off. At the side of the unit compartment 9 is a compartment 4 housing an air-freshener unit 12.
