A vehicle expandible to form a dwelling comprises a floor having a central hexagon-shaped part, triangular extensions pivoted to each side, and triangular flaps pivoted to each free side of the extensions to form a contiguous floor supported on struts 17. A centrally positioned extensible mast carries a dome 1 to the underside of which is attached via springs an inflatable cover 2 which extends beyond the floor when erected.
