Abstract

1,177,668. Cams ; valves. ROTAX Ltd. 3 July, 1968 [14 July, 1967], No. 32555/67. Headings F2K and F2V. [Also in Division H1] Microswitches 16 (or fluid control valves) are actuated by spring-loaded levers 17 when the latter are engaged by the ears 20 of respective circlips 19 carried in grooves (18, Fig. 1, not shown) in a shaft driven via reduction gearing (14) by an electric motor (15). The grooves and/or the circlips may be tapered in crosssection to enhance the resistance to relative movement between the circlips and shaft, but the circlips may be readily adjusted to.vary the timing of operation.
