Abstract
1,177,289. Yielding mine roof support arches. BERGBAUSTAHL G.m.b.H. & CO. 5 May, 1967 [7 May, 1966], No. 20946/67. Heading E1E. In a yielding mine roof support arch comprising telescopic arch-sections clamped together by a hook-bolt connection, the web of the bolt is provided with cutting edges C so that when the bolt is tilted by the roof it digs into the arch-sections to relieve the abutment member associated with such connections.
