Abstract

117,537. Ferraris, M. Sept. 25, 1917. Sparking - plugs. - The earthed electrode 11 consists of a perforated plate concave towards the cylinder. Mica. disks 7 and wrapping 8 are used for insulation. The plug body has cooling ribs and a tapered inner surface 13 against which the insulation bears, and its upper edge is bent over a ring 9.
