Abstract

1,174,884. Measuring position. HANDELSVERENIGING HAGEN N.V. 9 April, 1968, No. 16971/68. Heading G4H. The X and Y co-ordinates of the position of a finder 15 (Fig. 1) relative to a board 1 are determined by counting the output pulses from digitizers rotated when a slide 8 is moved with a shaft 10 carrying the finder 15 and when a slide 14 connected to the finder 15 is moved along the shaft 10. The slides are connected to the shafts of guide rollers coupled to the shafts of the digitizers, the outputs of which may be coupled by a store to a punched tape recorder, control keys being operated to record a cipher or letter code to identify the measured points.
