Abstract

1,174,184. Mechanical presses. HILLER & LUTZ. 9 Oct., 1967 [26 May, 1967], No. 46055/67. Heading B5F. A press comprises a main rocker arm 14 centrally pivoted at 15 in the press frame, at 16 to a press ram, and at 17 to link means operated by cam means 18. The link means may include a secondary rocker arm 21, a link 22 and a tie rod 19. In a simplified example (Fig. 1, not shown) the main rocker arm (4) is connected directly to the cam means (8) by a push rod (9).
