Abstract

1,170,101. Swash-plate pumps. R. LEDUC and G. LEDUC. Jan.4, 1967 [Jan.6, 1966], No.595/67. Heading F1A. The rotating swash-plate 9 is angularly adjustable on a support 8 by a piston 12 acting on the rear face 9b of the swash-plate through a load transfer pad 17 and liquid under pressure is supplied to the piston cylinder 11 through axial bores 13 and 22 in the piston 14 and a piston 22 acting on the front face 9b through a load transfer pad 18. Liquid is fed to the pump cylinders 4 from the swash-plate chamber through a half-moon recess 25 in the front face 9a of the swash-plate. In a further embodiment, Fig.2 (not shown), the halfmoon recess is arranged to provide reverse rotation and inclination from the no stroke position of the swash-plate.
