1,168,472. Clip, clamp and stud fastenings. F. T. PRODUCTS Ltd. 4 April, 1967 [4 April, l966], No. 14965/66. Heading E2B. A fastener for attaching a moulding to a panel is of resilient material and shaped, e.g. as shown, to provide two pairs of substantially parallel edges, e.g. 19 and 20, which are undercut to enable them to grip the moulding, the edges of one pair being more widely separated than the edges of the other pair and being inclined, preferably perpendicularly, to them. The fastener may then be orientated in either of two directions for cooperation with alternative mouldings of different sizes. The fastener also has means by which it may be secured to a supporting panel, these preferably taking the form of a shank 12 and a break-off pin which may be driven into the shank to expand it.
