Abstract

1,167,261. Tablet dispenser. ABBOTT LABORATORIES. 13 Feb., 1967 [4 March, 1966], No. 6844/67. Heading B8C. A tablet container and dispenser comprises a container 11 having a neck 13, and a plurality of tubular resilient sleeve members such as S, S<SP>1</SP> friction fitted into the container 11 whereby at least one sleeve member is accessible for removal through the neck 13, each sleeve member being adapted to receive a plurality of tablets 21 in friction fitting engagement. As described, the sleeve members have open sides delineated by outwardly flanged edges 19, 20 and 16, 23. Their lower ends are partially occluded by base-plates 33, 34 and 33a, 34a, see also Figs. 5-7 (not shown). Similarly their top ends are provided with tabs 24, 25. A tab 17 may be removably secured at 25a to extract a sleeve member from the container 11.
