Abstract
1,167,047. Knitted fabrics. KUNSTSEIDENA.G. 17 April, 1967 [29 April, 1966], No. 17471/67. Heading D1K. A two-ply elastic knitted fabric comprises a plurality of loops of non-elastic spun yarn produced from a natural and/or artificial threads or fibres and a crimped yarn lying adjacent to the non-elastic yarn and having a crimping contraction of from 2-50%. the sinking depth of a separate loop of the crimped yarn being from 5 to 25% greater than that of the non-elastic yarn. The non- elastic yarn may be cotton, staple rayon or wool and the crimped yarn may be a polyester or polyamide.
