Vaporizers, external. - The admission pipe 13 is wholly enclosed on the exhaust chamber and is separated from the walls thereof except at its ends; it is flattened in cross section. The exhaust gases descend through a channel 20 and, passing under the end of a partition 19, flow between the walla 16, 18 to the exhaust pipe 17 as indicated by the arrows.
