Endless-track vehicles. - The endless-track consists of a series of adjacent endless cables made of a deformable material. with or without the addition of a floating hearing or sole-piece 10. The cables pass over the pulleys 2 and under the carrier wheels 9, which are connected to the frame 6 so as to move up and down, suitable elastic devices 8 pulling the axles 5 of the wheels 9 downwards. The endless cables may be of rubber, or may have an armoured core of hemp or steel or an interior filling of canvas, and they may be webbed together. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) comprises the replacement of the endless cables by a single flexible band or belt This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 127,330.
