Abstract

1,157,178. Musical instruments. WARWICK ELECTRONICS Inc. 6 June, 1967 [24 Feb., 1967], No. 26027/67. Heading G5J. [Also in Division H3] A variable frequency resonator circuit is included between the output of an electric guitar and its amplifier, variation of the resonant frequency introducing " wow-wow " into the output. The circuit comprises an inductance 38 and a capacitance formed by the effective input capacitance of feedback amplifier 24, 34. The effective capacitance and hence the resonant frequency is varied by a potentiometer 28 which may be ganged with a switch 41 included to switch the circuit in or out. The switch and potentiometer may be foot operated, Figs. 4, 5 (not shown).
