1,150,652. Refrigerating. A. BOTTANI. 9 May, 1966 [13 May, 1965], No. 20497/66. Heading F4H. Objects, e.g. bottled liquids, are disposed in containers and cooled by streams of carbon dioxide. As shown, pressurized carbon dioxide gas from a container 1 is supplied by pipe 5 to a plurality of nozzles r 1 -r 4 under the control of cocks R 1 -R 4 . Bottles to be cooled are placed in zipped fabric bags C 1 -C 4 permeable to the gas and suspended from the nozzles, or alternatively in containers disposed one beneath each nozzle. The nozzles may be connected to pipe 5 by flexible conduits.
