Abstract

1,149,718. Feeding webs. MASCHINENFABRIK GOEBEL G.m.b.H. 23 March, 1967 [1 April, 1966], No. 13821/67. Heading B6B. A cam-controlled pair of looping rollers 4 and 5 mounted on a reciprocating carriage 7 are provided each at the same end with a sprocketwheel. An endless chain 14, driven at 15 at the speed of the web 1, engages with its top run, without wrapping around, the two roller sprockets. As an alternative, partial wrapping around may be achieved with two additional sprockets 19 and 20 mounted on the carriage 7.
