1,149,502. Working at specified temperatures. BIRMETALS Ltd. 10 May, 1966 [11 May, 1965], No. 19757/65. Heading B3V. [Also in Division C7] Magnesium-base alloys containing about 6% of zinc and 1¢% of manganese are extruded at 380‹ C. before heat-treatment involving a twostage ageing process. As exemplified, 2-inch diameter bar was extruded from a 12-inch diameter billet at 2 feet per minute, while extruded bar of 3À6-inch diameter was reextruded to 0À75-inch diameter.
