Abstract

1,146,818. Combined cooking and air heating stove. C. D. OSBORNE. 27 Oct., 1967, No. 48961/67. Heading F4S. In a cooking stove having an oven and a grill chamber beneath the oven, cold air enters a passageway between the oven and the grill chamber to be heated for space warming. A heater 92 at the top of the grill chamber 16 serves to heat air which passes up at the sides of the grill chamber 16 and round baffles extending from passages 116 connecting the grill chamber 16 to the oven 14 to a passage at the rear of the oven. A blower 142 delivers air to a bottom outlet 172 or to an outlet to one side of the space between the oven and the cooker top section. Hot air may be delivered by convection to a passage 152 above the oven delivering through an outlet separated from the upper forced hot air outlet. Dampers 157, 174 enable the desired hot air outlet to be selected.
