The cutter tools or tool holders 19 of a mineral-mining drum 10 are mounted on one or more tubular spacing members 17 secured to the drum. The members 17 may be double banked tubes that either extend spirally around the drum or encircle the outer end of the drum. Dust-suppressing water may be fed to the picks from within the drum by way of the members 17.
