Abstract
1,144,621. Combine harvesters. GEBR. GLAAS. 19 Jan., 1968 [14 Feb., 1967], No. 3073/68. Heading A1F. A cleaner for threshed material comprises two screens 25, 26, a blower (24), Fig. 1 (not shown) for directing an air blast on to the undersides of the screens across their whole width, lengthwise upright walls 34, 35, 36, 37 attached to the screens and to the discharge floor 28 below and members 40, 41, 42, 43 for guiding the aid blast to the undersides of the screen. The guide members spaced at different levels are arranged behind each other in pairs below each screen. They have a flat rhomboid or drop shaped profile and slope upwards towards the undersides of the screens. The cleaner forms part of a combine harvester, the threshed material being fed to the cleaner from the discharge end of the preparation floor 22, Fig. 1 (not shown).
