Abstract

1,142,418. Stoppers. A. R. RAUSING. 1 June, 1967 [13 June, 1966], No. 25276/67. Heading B8T. A container comprises a sleeve part 2 and a lid 3. The sleeve 2 has an interior lining 1 having an annular bead 6 spaced from and parallel to the container mouth. The lid 3 is provided with a resilient flange 4 which can be snapped over the bead 6 when the lid 3 is pressed into the container. A second flange 5 on the lid prevents its being pushed further into the container, and the distance between the flanges 4, 5 is preferably such that the flange 5 rests on the edge 7 of the container when the lid is in the closure position.
