Abstract

1,136,721. Frozen confectionery. F. WILKINSON. 18 March, 1966 [30 March, 1965], No. 13389/65. Addition to 987,951. Heading A2B. An article of frozen confectionery such as a water ice has a separate edible container partially embedded therein. The container may be adhered to the confectionery or retainer in a recess therein. The container, which may be of a sheet material such as rice paper, or a film of cellulose derivative, may be coated with a water resistant film such as resin or polyvinyl acetate, and may contain a material which effervesces on contact with the confectionery, such as sherbert, or may contain other materials such as chocolate, fruit crystals, flavoured syrups, or alcoholic beverages.
