1,136,588. Etching. NORTH AMERICAN ALUMINUM CORP. 10 June, 1966 [25 June, 1965], No. 25995/66; Heading B6J. Aluminium alloy is etched in a bath comprising an alkali such as sodium or potassium hydroxide, 50-105 grams per litre dissolved aluminium, sulphide ions provided by addition of alkali sulphides or polysulphides such as sodium sulphide, or hydrogen sulphide, and optional additives such as sodium gluconate.
