Abstract

1,134,183. Partitioning; glazing. RUBERY. OWEN & CO. Ltd. 16 Aug., 1966 [21 May, 1965]. No. 21709/65. Headings E1R and E1W. Partitioning comprises glazed units 28, 29, Fig. 4, door frame units 37 or the like having pairs of opposed flanges 17' along each edge which are clamped between reversely bent flanges 18 on pairs of outwardly diverging flanges 17 of channels connected by bolts 20. Pillars may be connected together to form T- and L junctions by means of brackets 32 also secured by the clamping bolts 20. The partitioning also comprises horizontal support members 54, Fig. 7 on which the bottoms of the pillars are supported, a levelling screw jack 83 being mounted between the member 54 and a floor channel 51. Partition glazing is secured by removable glazing bars 62 having a horizontal part 64 which slides between parts 58 and 61 of the partitioning.
