1,133,005. Vehicle exterior driving mirrors. J. B. DAVEY. 27 Oct., 1967 [1 Aug., 1966], No. 24325/66. Heading B7J. [Also in Division A4] A vehicle exterior driving mirror comprises a plane reflecting surface 3 and a convex reflecting surface 4, such that the tangent plane to the convex surface 4 which is parallel to the plane surface 3 touches the convex surface 4 at a point 5 laterally offset from the centre lines 6, 7. The mirror may comprise a frame 1 retaining the plane and convex mirrors or may comprise a convex mirror with a flat backing which may be glued to any plane mirror.
