Abstract

1,132,121. Making cutters; casting composite articles. PAYER-LUX EDUARD PAYER. 4 March, 1966 [27 Aug., 1965], No. 9618/66. Headings B3A and B3F. [Also in Divisions B4, B5 and C7] A cutting head for a dry shaver comprises cast rod members 3 which engage in cavities 2 in the cutter 1, the cross-sectional area of the rod members in-between the cutters being greater than that of the cavities. The rod members may be cast of zinc or aluminium in the righ-hand half of the mould illustrated in Fig. 5, the other half being for injection moulding of plastics. The mould consists of upper and lower portions 4, 5 held by dowels 14 and provided with a gate 15 and channel 16<SP>1</SP> for pouring in the material. The cutters are held in place by plates 6, 7 clamped between end pieces 8, 9 by bolts 12, 13.
