A kerb drain unit has a top surface forming an edge of the kerb and an apertured side leading to a hollow interior for connection with a drain, the unit having an access cover, which may open or be removed upwards. The end faces of the unit may have spigots and/or sockets for joining two or more together, or blanking plates may be used to close the open ends.
