113,159. Hesketh, F. Feb. 22, 1917. Feeding and drinking-appliances for animals.- A feeding or water trough a for poultry, dogs, cats, &c., has a back-plate a<1> or bars a<2> formed integral with or permanently attached to it, the back-plate or bars being formed with apertures c<1>, c<2>, &c., to enable the trough to be suspended on nalls, screws, or studs b, at various heights according to the growth of the poultry, &c. The apertures may be recessed, as shown at c<6>, to receive the shanks of the naile &c. In a modification, the apertures are replaced by equivalent notches along the edges of the back-plate &c. The invention is also described as applied to a casing or housing adapted to contain a loose trough. Specification 103,797 is referred to.
