Abstract
1,128,391. Glass moulding machines. RAVENHEAD GLASS Ltd. 23 June, 1967 [31 March, 1966], No. 14357/66. Heading C1M. Glass bowls 2 from a Westlake machine 1 are unloaded by a machine 3 and loaded into cups on a conveyer 5 which extends to an M.P.A. press 12 on which a stem and foot is formed and attached to each bowl. The bowl is raised off the conveyer at 10 and is transferred into jaws on intermittently rotatable machine 11 in which machine it is inverted by rotating the jaws and loaded on to the M.P.A. machine 12. The finished glass is unloaded at 13. The M.P.A. machine is mounted at a lower level than the Westlake machine to facilitate molten glass supply and this is accommodated by the conveyer 5 being inclined.
