Abstract
1,127,387. Multiplex signalling systems. EVERSHED & VIGNOLES Ltd. 4 July, 1967 [12 April, 1966], No. 16069/66. Heading G4H. A receiver for a time-sharing multiplex system, e.g. of the kind described in Specification 806, 515, comprises a first transistor amplifier 15, 16 connected to the input 11, a relay contact 17 which causes a low-leakage capacitor 19 to be charged by the amplifier, a second amplifier 20-23 having its input connected across the capacitor, and an indicator connected to the input 11 and to the output of the second amplifier, the arrangement being such that the capacitor is charged when a signal appears at the input 11, while switch 17 is closed, to maintain the current to the indicator through the second amplifier after the input signal has ceased .The switch 17 is controlled by relay coil 18 energized by a signal at inputs 26.
