Abstract
1,126,981. Consuming smoke. AEROPUR S.r.L. 3 Jan., 1966 [3 March, 1965; 8 June, 1965], No. 27/66. Heading F4W. Secondary air, or a mixture of secondary air and waste gases, are heated in a sinuous passage within a device 6 above the burner of a boiler stove. Jets 11 of preheated air issue from a pipe surrounding the device 6 in a direction parallel to its axis. The air, taken from an inlet 3, may be mixed with gases withdrawn from the flue in amounts controlled by a damper 4a. The air/smoke mixture is partly fed to the device 6, partly fed below the burner and partly fed to the upper part of the combustion chamber.
