[Also in Division F2] A head of a boring machine has a body 1 with a sleeve 2 secured therein; the sleeve 2 having an outer surface provided with a helicalshaped groove 6 which is connected at the ends thereof to annular grooves 7 and 8, and having an inner surface which receives bearings 3, 4 therein. The helical-shaped groove 6 is supplied with pressurized-coolant through an inlet 9 in the body 1 which connects to the groove 7 and coolant escapes from the groove 6 via annular groove 8 in the sleeve 2 and an outlet 10 in the body 1.
