Abstract

1,121,951. Angular bending. HAMMERLE A.G. 1 Jan., 1966, No. 7/66. Heading B3E. A bending machine comprises a ram 14 and work-table 1 carrying tool holders 26, 4 for a plurality of bending tools movable selectively into the working position, the tool holder 4 on the work-table being slidable horizontally. This movement is effected by a pneumatic or hydraulic motor 13 to bring forming surfaces 8, 9, 10 on dies 6, 7 into the working position opposite stamp heads 16, 22, 23. The dies 6, 7 are adjustable by screws 24, 25 acting upon wedges 5. Stamp heads 22, 23 are mounted on the ram tool holder 26 for pivotal movement into inoperative positions. The tools may be changed automatically according to a predetermined bending programme.
