Abstract

1,120,260. Plates, dishes &c. STRATOFLAT INTERNATIONAL CO. HANDELSANSALT. 7 Dec., 1965 [9 Dec., 1964], No. 51811/65. Heading A4A. Meat, soup &c. plates, or dishes are formed of a plurality of nested, identical synthetic plastics laminae, which are individually insufficiently strong to support the weight of the contents, the uppermost lamina being discarded after use. The laminae have a central flat portion 10<SP>1</SP>, a skirt portion 12<SP>1</SP>, 14<SP>1</SP> and a downturned rim 16<SP>1</SP>, and are made of .005 to .12 mm. thick polished plastic sheet e.g. of polystyrene having a low butadienne content, or of a chloropolyethylene copolymer, or of a vinyl chloride-vinyl copolymer having a low acetate content, or of nitrocellulose plastified with a camphor plastifier.
