Abstract

1,118,247. Hedge cutters. J. B. EASTWOOD. 5 May, 1967 [26 May, 1966], No. 23500/66. Heading A1E. A hedge trimmer comprises a dished or hollow domed casing 1 provided at its mouth with a stationary diametral bar 5 and a central shaft 8 furnished with a diametrically arranged cutter bar or blade 11, the other end of the shaft having an electric power driven unit associated therewith for rotating the shaft and hence blade 11 relative to bar 5. The power unit 16 may be integral or detachably connected to the trimmer.
