Abstract

1,114,620. Gable-topped containers. INTERNATIONAL PAPER CO. 13 April, 1965, No. 48008/67. Divided out of 1,109,242. Heading B8P. A thermoplastic-coated blank for forming a four-sided gable-topped container of the type described in Specification 1,046,424, has, in one of the gable surface closure panels 13, a slit line 30, see also Figs. 4-6 (not shown), and a zone 40 adjacent the slit which has been roughened, rendered less glossy, treated with a dulling pigment &c., such surface disruption resulting in a better heat seal. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 1,046,424.
