111,242. Caterpillar Tractors, Ltd., (Holt Manufacturing Co.). April 30, 1917. Three-point suspension. - In endless - track vehicles of the kind described in Specification 16716/15 in which the truck frames support the main frame 10 by means of a transverse equalizing beam, the truck frames 11 are extended forwards and forked to enclose the idler wheels 16,. and the equalizing-beam 17 is connected to the front extremity of the main frame. The rear of the main frame is supported by springs 22. The truck frames are provided with standards 24 which slide in guides 25 on the main frame. Specification 5857/11, [Class 79 (i), Locomotives &c.], also is referred to.
