Abstract

1,110,840. Wells &c. WEATHERFORD OIL TOOL G.m.b.H. 7 April, 1966 [7 April, 1965], No. 15527/66. Heading E1F. A casing centralizer has collars 2, 2<SP>1</SP> formed with U-shaped projections 3, 3<SP>1</SP> having apertures formed by pressing inwardly tongues 10, and the springs 1, 1<SP>1</SP>, 1<SP>11</SP> &c have projections 5, 5<SP>1</SP> fitting the apertures, the collars and their springs being held together by the tongues which engage the backs of the projections 5, 5<SP>1</SP>. The centralizer may have three collars, springs extending from the central collar to each end collar.
