Abstract
1,109,557. Hand held devices. GENERAL ANILINE & FILM CORPORATION. 16 Jan., 1967 [17 Jan., 1966], No. 2148/67. Heading H2H. A lamp 20 in a slide viewer supplied from self contained dry or rechargeable batteries 27, 28 on insertion of a slide and consequent closure of a switch 22, may be alternatively supplied from A.C. mains through a step down transformer (not shown) and a plug 34-36, insertion of which unshunts a rectifier 54 which changes or rejuvenates the battery and also prevents discharge of the battery to the lamp.
