Abstract

1,105,318. Moulding pipes. D. B. PETRIK. 21 July, 1965 [23 July, 1964], No. 30937/65. Heading B5A. [Also in Divisions E1 and F2] The walls, ceilings &c. of buildings are made of corrugated metal or plastics sheets 1 having trapezium shaped corrugations, the crests of which are connected together by rods 5 or by welding. The sheets may be embedded in concrete which may be foamed with or without shuttering. The rods 5 may pass through holes in the crests. When the crests are welded together reinforcing bars are also welded between the crests. Mats and mesh are attached to the rods 5 for adherence of plaster. The corrugated sheet is reinforced by bars 42, 43 welded to it. The shape of the corrugations may be varied as shown in Figs. 14, 15 and 17 (not shown). A corner of a wall is formed by two corrugated sheets at right angles having the ends at the corner shaped to 45 degrees and having interior extensions clamped together. A pipe is moulded by laying the corrugated sheet round wheels that are rotated while concrete is filled into the top external and bottom internal, surfaces of the sheet. This sheet embedded in concrete may be used for tunnels, Fig. 12 (not shown).
