Abstract
1,101,919. Electric heating resistances. BALZERS PATENT UND LIZENZANSTALT. 4 May, 1966 [1 June, 1965]. No. 19614/66. Heading H5H. A hollow electric resistance heating element 1 for a high temperature furnace has slots 8 extending from one end to near the other end and one tapered end 10. Similar slots 7, 9 extend from the other end and the element is mounted in a number of attachment plates through which current is supplied. The element may be of graphite or ceramic material.
