Abstract

1,100,520. Containers. LUDWIG SPITZER SEN. KOMM.-GES. 29 Dec., 1966 [23 July, 1966], No. 58176/66. Heading B7B. A pressure container for conveying or storing flowable material, e.g. liquids or powders, comprises a cylinder 1 having frusto-conical outlet ducts 2, 3 and being closed at the ends 18, 19 by quarter-spherical shells 12, 13 cut away at their lower edges obliquely outwardly and upwardly, by arcuate members 14, 15, and by triangular members 16, 17, the abutting edges of the sheet metal parts of the container being butt-welded to each other so as to merge smoothly. A support 22 is welded to the end 18 of the container and optionally receives a tractor or truck coupling 24, and a support 23 is welded to the end 19 of the container and optionally engages the trailer rear axle unit 25. Pressuretight inlet covers 10, 11 are provided, and pneumatic feed-pipes (not shown) are connectible to outlet members 6, 7.
