Aug. 26, 1965 [Aug. 26, 1964], No. 36758/65. Heading B1X. In an automatic titrator, the liquid to be analysed is conveyed by valve 2 and line 12, and reagent from vessel 9 by valve 1 and line 11, successively through line 10, peristaltic pump 3 and line 14 to vessel 4 which is provided with means 5 for determining the end point of the titration. Vessel 4 may be provided with overflow 8, and with a line 13 containing valve 7 to empty the vessel. Pump 3 has means for determining the volume of liquid passed through and is controlled by a limit relay from the end-point determination means 5. The valves 1, 2, and 7 may be controlled by solenoids. End-point determinations mentioned are by pH or by redox potential.
