Abstract

1,098,276. Ship's fender. SEIBU GOMU KAGAKU KABUSHIKI KAISHA. Oct. 28, 1966 [May 26, 1966], No. 48522/66. Heading B7S. A ship's fender comprises a main part 1 of elastic material and a shock dispersing strip 4 embedded in the front of said main part. The main part which may be of trapezoidal or oblong (Fig. 3, not shown) cross-section has a hollow core 2. A reinforcing plate 5 is embedded in the rear of the main part and lugs 3 are provided for attachment purposes.
